One of my students suggested that I do an illustration from the story of Hansel and Gretel for Illustration Friday's word for the week. I used a smooth Strathmore paper with watercolors and prismacolor colored pencils.
oooo Jane! I love the watercolor look and the feeling of a breeze blowing through the trees. You really captured the "into the forest" atmosphere. Great minds think alike ;o)
This is lovely, although the kids will hurt their feet in the forest with no shoes. Love the dynamic shadows.
