For this week's Illustration Friday, I was inspired by an old family photo album from around 1920, and this little girl with the old fashioned hair bow.
Lovely illo, I like the sepia tones they work so well with the image. Perfect for this weeks prompt. It kinda reminds me of the famous five/enid blyton! :o)
Beautifully done Jane! This is spot on for old-fashioned! I love the details of the grass (how's your hand feeling after drawing all those blades - ha ha!).
I am an art teacher who loves to draw and paint, as well as illustrate for children. I also enjoy printmaking---especially block prints. Whatever I do as an artist, I have to remind myself---no pressure---it all starts by just putting pencil to paper.
It’s a nice illustration. Your limited color palette shows that this illustration has an old photo feeling.
