As I was working on sketches for IF this weekend, I couldn't get away from the concept of "beneath the sea", until it finally turned into "beneath the pier".
Beautiful work, this is a great idea, there is so much going on around the pillars of a pier! I have also a blog award waiting for you on my blog, your work is fantastic!
This is si sweet, I am teaching myself watercolours at the moment, and would love to try to emulate this little scene in watercolour, just for my own practice, would this be permissable? I would of course, credit you as the artist.
I enjoyed "Beneath" and a couple others and used them to illustrate a poem from my morning prayer/meditation ...
The Grace of Presence
my boat (The Grace) my book written on the swells out beyond the shore
I’m writing my own book the book of my life walking exploring wonder wandering out from God’s book of Love written being written increasingly in and out through my own heart mind spirit by feet, hands, head and heart as I’m graced with joy explored and shared
each new pier each pillar planted beneath the water each new boating adventure taken slowly with oar and sail
This is adorable. I love the hair dipping into the water and the curious fishes checking it out.
