When my sister and I were little, my father always made our pancakes into all different kinds of shapes. Later he continued the tradition for our children.
I am a retired high school art teacher who enjoys drawing and painting, but who now works predominately as a printmaker in my small home studio. I love exploring various block printing techniques, and print everything by hand without a press, using water soluble inks.
Whatever I do as an artist, I have to remind myself---no pressure---it all starts by just putting pencil to paper.
Great one Jane... My dad did the same and so did I :o) Thanks for the wonderful illustration and the trip down memory lane ;o)
