"Sparkle" Illustration Friday

New post for Illustration Friday's theme, "sparkle"

They say April is the cruelest month, and this week's weather has made that statement true! On Friday the temperature reached 70 degrees, but by Saturday night it was cold and there was snow on the ground Sunday morning. Another snow storm on Monday gave us about 5 more inches by nightfall. Tonight the temperature is dipping into the teens. Fortunately this is New England, and if you don't like the weather, wait a minute. In a few days they are calling for rain and milder temperatures again!

Rain in the morning, but the sun came out for a bit in the afternoon so I was able to take a walk with my long-time walking buddy. We got caught in a shower half way through but the temperature was mild today and it felt a bit refreshing.

The Fall foliage is close to peak color here, but the wind and rain sent many of the leaves off the trees today, and the sidewalks and streets were covered with a carpet of reds, and oranges, and yellows.
