On recital day, no one cared a bit that the little dancers' routine was imperfect.

Hey, I have ballet dancers for my 'imperfect' too! I love your little girls. Especially the missing tooth on the middle one. Great illustration!
ReplyDeleteI have sat through so many of those "imperfect" routines when my daughter did ballet...they were the best shows I ever saw (from a biased Mum of course). Great illustration Jane, as well as the missing tooth I love their imperfect foot positions! Hope you are enjoying a good summer?

They look like they are having lots of fun and that's all that matters, and of course dressing up as a ballerina!! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe older dancers always looked great at my daughters' recital, but when the little ones came out in various states of disarray, nervousness, and exuberance, they stole the show!
