April Fool's!

When we was little, our parents used to try and fool us on April 1st by telling us, "Wake up, it's snowing!" or "Look, there's a robin outside!" Today, there were both, and it was not an April Fool's Day joke!

March came in like a lamb, and definitely went out like a lion! Fortunately, I had plenty to do around the house. I printed another layer of ink on a new block print, matted and framed a piece for an upcoming art show, and organized my studio area. A bit of shoveling, laundry, and picking up, rounded out the day. Being stuck at home has its benefits! Now if we can get some sunshine, and warmer weather to melt the twelve inches of new snow before Easter.

This is layer #2 for a block print that will eventually be "The View From Rattlesnake Mt."

  1. Some of that weather hit Ohio, but thankfully, I didn't get 12" of snow. Today it's beautiful out. The robins always know when spring is coming, and you'll be warm again soon.
