Scrub a dub dub!! You've done a great job Jane! I love the details, like the water puddles, the sneaks on the floor, the highlights on the back wall. Nicely done, as always!
I truly enjoy the fact that you don't show us the entire tub nor the bathroom. How everything just fades out. The colors keep me going and I love her expression. She looks like she triumphed the day. :)
What a wonderful, wonderful illustration! So true! I've missed visiting, but will be better this year! So many great illustrations (your snow fort posts are great!). Happy new year!!
I am an art teacher who loves to draw and paint, as well as illustrate for children. I also enjoy printmaking---especially block prints. Whatever I do as an artist, I have to remind myself---no pressure---it all starts by just putting pencil to paper.
This is such a fun piece - love the touch of the bandaid on the girl's arm!
ReplyDeletevery cute, love it

ReplyDeleteI love the water drips! I like how they define the tub form.
ReplyDeleteI like the new blog header! It makes me think it's the next frame in a sequence. She looked up from her drawing and saw the snowman.
